Baked Ham and Cheese Croissants – A Perfect Savory Treat!

Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Croissants:

If you’re using store-bought croissants, slice them in half horizontally, creating a top and bottom. If you’re using homemade croissants, simply cut them open the same way.
Assemble the Croissants:

On the bottom half of each croissant, place a slice of Swiss cheese, followed by 2 slices of ham. You can add more ham or cheese if desired. Place the top half of the croissant on top, pressing down gently.
Brush with Butter:

In a small bowl, melt the butter and stir in the Dijon mustard (if using). Brush the top of each croissant generously with the butter mixture. This will help them bake to a golden, crispy perfection.
Bake the Croissants:

Place the assembled croissants on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Serve:

Once out of the oven, let the croissants cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm, and enjoy!
