Bacon Jam Grilled Cheeseburgers: A Savory Twist on a Classic Favorite

Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Cook the Patties

Heat the olive oil in a grill pan or outdoor grill over medium-high heat.
Once the pan is hot, place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt.
Step 3: Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the hamburger buns in half and lightly toast them on the grill or in a separate pan until golden brown.
Step 4: Assemble the Burgers

Spread a generous amount of bacon jam on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
Place a cheese-covered burger patty on top of the bacon jam.
Add a strip of crispy bacon on top of the burger.
Close the burger with the top half of the bun.
