Bacon Cheeseburger Pie: The Ultimate Comfort Food

Cook the ground beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add onion and garlic:
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the beef, and cook for another 3-4 minutes, until the onion softens.

Mix in the condiments:
Stir in the ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes to allow the flavors to combine. Remove from heat.

Prepare the pie crust:
Roll out your pre-made pie crust and place it in a pie dish. Press the dough into the edges and trim any excess.

Assemble the pie filling:
In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix thoroughly. Spread the filling evenly into the pie crust.

Make the creamy topping:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and egg. Pour this mixture over the beef filling in the pie.

Bake the pie:
Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is set.

Garnish and serve:
Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for garnish. Slice and serve!
