Apple Cake – A Warm, Cinnamon-Spiced Delight Perfect for Fall!

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch cake pan to prepare for baking.

Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt. Make sure everything is evenly combined.

Mix Wet Ingredients:
In another bowl, beat the eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until the batter is smooth and well-combined.

Add Apples and Walnuts:
Fold in the chopped apples and walnuts (if you’re using them) into the batter. The apples should be evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool and Serve:
Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, slice and enjoy this delightful apple cake!
