This old-fashioned grandma’s recipe transforms simple pantry staples—like potatoes, eggs, and fresh herbs—into a deliciously comforting dish with a creamy mushroom filling that’s hard to resist. Crispy on the outside and soft, cheesy, and herby on the inside, these potato pockets will wow everyone at your table.

Ingredients:
For the Potato Dough:

1 kg fresh potatoes, peeled and boiled

1 egg

1 fresh carrot, grated

1 fresh onion, finely chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

Fresh dill, chopped

Fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and black pepper to taste

Dried garlic (optional, for extra flavor)

4–5 tbsp breadcrumbs

50 g mozzarella cheese, grated

For the Creamy Mushroom Filling:

1 fresh onion, chopped

30–40 g butter

5–6 champignons, finely chopped

1 tbsp flour

120–150 ml cream

Italian herbs to taste

Salt and pepper to taste
