1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup water (or more as needed)
For Chicken Noodle Soup:
1 tablespoon oil
1 lb (450g) chicken breast or thighs, boneless and skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 medium onion, chopped
2 carrots, sliced
2 celery stalks, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
6 cups chicken broth (homemade or store-bought)
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups homemade egg noodles (see above)
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
