To make your rosary plant (Crassula Perfoliata var. Falcata) bloom and fill your house with its beautiful fragrance, follow these steps:
1. Ensure Proper Lighting
Rosary plants thrive in bright, indirect light. Place your plant in a spot where it gets plenty of sunlight, such as near a window with filtered light. Direct sunlight is good but can scorch the leaves if too intense.
The plant needs at least 4-6 hours of light daily for optimal blooming.
2. Use Well-Draining Soil
Rosary plants prefer well-draining soil, as they are succulent plants. Use a cactus or succulent mix, or create your own by adding perlite to standard potting soil to ensure good drainage.
Avoid overly rich or heavy soils as they may retain excess moisture, which can lead to root rot.
3. Water Properly
Rosary plants are drought-tolerant and do not need frequent watering. Water them only when the soil has dried out completely.
Overwatering can lead to root rot, so be sure to let the soil dry between waterings. In the winter months, reduce watering since the plant is dormant.
4. Fertilize During the Growing Season
