A delicious twist on classic lasagna, this Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna layers cheese ravioli, marinara sauce, and gooey cheeses for an effortless, comforting dish.
Ingredients
1 package frozen cheese ravioli
2 cups marinara sauce
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 egg
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tbsp olive oil
How to Make
Prepare the Ricotta Mixture:
In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, and dried basil. Stir until well mixed.
Prepare the Crockpot:
Grease the bottom and sides of your crockpot with olive oil to prevent sticking.
Layer the Lasagna:
Start by spreading a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of the crockpot.
Add a layer of frozen ravioli on top of the sauce.
Spread a portion of the ricotta mixture over the ravioli, followed by a layer of mozzarella cheese.
Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of marinara sauce and the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
Cook:
Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the ravioli is tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:
Once the lasagna is cooked, carefully serve it by scooping out portions with a spatula.
